Bad Romance

I love this editorial for BLOWonline by Cristine Leone and Melissa Carew, shot on a Lomography Diana F+ Camera.

No matter how great digital is, there’s still such an aura to using film which transposes itself onto the photos. Definitely the case in this editorial, the Diana F+ camera had created such a beautiful effect of antique looking, desaturated colours accentuated with a punch of elements like the crimson red woolly jumper or hot pink DMs.

Diana F+ “Take My Heart”: wrapped in a masterpiece and dedicated to the very first love story.

It was the very first love story ever – Adam and Eve and an annoying snake, but this should not turn down our romantic feelings. We connected this classic love story depicted by Lucas Cranach with a true analogue icon – the Diana F+. All wrapped up in this medieval masterpiece of symbolism it tempts you to pass it like an apple to your sweetheart to document your own personal Garden of Eden on medium format film. And the best thing about it – you won’t get kicked out of your personal paradise if you get tempted by this medium format beauty.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

It’s hard not to fall in love with the Diana F+ camera. It takes dreamy 120 squares, and gives you unlimited creative options when paired with its lenses and accessories! This special Valentines Day edition features Adam and Eve on its red plastic body, and a bitten apple on the lens cap! Go ahead, submit yourself to the Diana passion.
