Keep Warm with a One Piece
Three hung-over Norwegians had the idea to sew together a hooded sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants, connecting the two with a giant zipper. We’ve all been there people. Except that in making their all-in-one piece these guys just so happened to make OnePiece™.
Now their hangover days are far behind them as their creation buzzed all over the internet and onto the bodies of fans and celebs...

Fashion Week Internationale
Last night I attended the exclusive preview of VICE’s new series Fashion Week Internationale at the VICE offices. A treat all round.
First there were Fashion Week Internationale cocktails made with Hendricks (the classy gin) and an acai berry drink called ‘28 Black’, so far, so fashiony. THEN there was sushi (tick tick) and of course the appearance of the obligatory fashion...

Dr Martens wants to celebrate your firsts with their campaign for their A/W11 collection by having their first series of free in-store gigs for the First and Forever Festival which will visit Cardiff, Leeds and London Dr Martens shops and culminate in a three night ticketed festival at the...

VICE and ASOS went looking for the most interesting young people in London, New York, Berlin and Paris. Unsurprisingly, we found that they all spend little time worrying about what their contemporaries are doing, and instead focus on making their own way in the world with a zeal that would make an oil rig worker blush.
This film is about Berlin DJ and founder of the label Exploited, Shir...

Daisy Lowe invites you to Dinner
So the final part of the 3-part series with Daisy Lowe and Sony Ericsson is out. This is the one where they follow Daisy around as she goes about a typically busy day in her life cooking a dinner party for her pals in her swanky new North London flat.
She wears a beaut of a dress as well - toates feeling the tight but unbuttoned burgundy maxi dress for A/W.

You can get involved and ask questions here.

Duck and Cover Want Your Face
Duck and Cover, the brand named after the 1950’s American government’s advice on what to do in the event of a nuclear bomb, are searching for their new campaign model in a different way.
Instead of hiring a po faced professional, these guys are holding a competition called “We Want Your Face”. The winner will receive £1000 in cash, £1000 Duck and Cover apparel and will...
Tokyo Rising
Palladium have created a beautifully shot 5 part mini documentary series featuring Pharrell Williams and his visit to Tokyo post 3/11 named ‘Tokyo Rising’. The series explores the creative forces that have been a constant source of inspiration for the musician throughout his many projects and we see the architecture, fellow musicians, artists and the parts of the city itself that have...

Have you ever wanted to know what a day in the life of Miss Daisy Lowe is like?
Now you can, with a new series of short films that have just been released which follow her about as she meets up with friends, goes on a photoshoot and tries to find an outfit for the GQ style awards.
Here’s part two from this three part series.
I’m not jealous at all….

First and Forever
With the onset of Winter comes the opportunity for new footwear. Call that ridiculous but that is how I can reconcile the forthcoming loss of the heat and light of Summer (what we’ve had of it) into bitter cold and darkness.
Dr Martens, as if they knew, have launched their new campaign for A/W11 to make me salivate and separate me from my money. The First and Forever campaign celebrates the...

Carven Hiver 11
Forgetting the fact that we’re in July and the weather in London is this awful, I’m looking forward to Winter which means furs, felt, wool, leather and brocade, starting with the amuse bouche that is Carven Hiver 11. I’m salivating.

My Boyfriend's a Photographer
Recently I have been toying with a new side project, another tumblr blog named My Boyfriend’s a Photographer, “an exploration love and the perception of beauty through a lens”, in which I post photographs of women taken by their lovers.
This poses interesting questions when studying each of the images. How does knowing that the loving look each woman shines back at us is meant...

The Ardorous
Today, via Vice’s annual Photo issue, I chanced across the all-female collective the Ardorous;
A series of individual and collaborative projects between a collective of female creative professionals – all full of ardor but each with a unique artistic style and voice.
The definition of Ardour being both ‘an often restless or transitory warmth of feeling’ and ‘sexual...

We're on two wheels baby
In an attempt to both exercise and save money, I have done it. I have taken up cycling. After a few recent delightful sojourns on my ancient bicycle, simply running errands and getting to work, I decided it was time to test my new found skills and embark on a lengthier trip… with disastrous results.
Suffice to say almost everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. After a beautiful...

Bad Romance
I love this editorial for BLOWonline by Cristine Leone and Melissa Carew, shot on a Lomography Diana F+ Camera.
No matter how great digital is, there’s still such an aura to using film which transposes itself onto the photos. Definitely the case in this editorial, the Diana F+ camera had created such a beautiful effect of antique looking, desaturated colours accentuated with a punch of...

I know I have been neglecting my blog of late and I promise to try and dedicate more time to it, especially with such beautiful new clothes, shoes, jewellery and accessories surfacing everyday for Spring Summer 2011.
The reason for my absence is that i’ve been working for BLOW online, the online blog for BLOW PR. So if you really miss me, you can catch my posts on the BLOWonline tumblr...

Doc Martins S/S11
I am in Love with DM’s S/S11 offerings, a beautiful combination of what are typically perceived as quite tough, ‘workwear’ shoes and a new, more delicate pastel colouring.
Part of the print collection, these ‘Grey Tapestry’ 3 eyes are so lovely with their tiny velvet ribbon as laces and carpet bag-esque fabric print.

The Bold and The Beautiful
I’m not sure whether its my excitement at the onset of some sunshine and warmer weather which means a move away from cosy knits and therefore an opportunity for slightly more interesting clothing or just sheer boredom of my recently more pared-down look, but I find myself falling in love with structured dresses and tops covered in bold and colourful prints, something I have shown very little...

Kat Maconie
I am currently experiencing a major shoe crush on Kat Maconie’s S/S11 Collection, some of which is now available from ASOS.
These are my favourites, the Zoe peep-toe shoe boots. I love the gold detailing and the combination of textured leather and suede, in addition to the block heel. They look how shoes ought to look.
